KF3 BioDiesel Production Founding Management Team
KF3 BioDiesel Production is currently operated by the founding Management Team. KF3 is slated to transition from a sole proprietorship to a California based LLC in 2008, at which time a formal, compensated Board of Directors will be seated.
The founding Management Team is actively involved in the daily operation of KF3 and is composed of the following individuals.
Chief Technical Officer: Raymond F. Kemp, B.S. in Biology, A.S. in Computer Science
Raymond is the founder and acting CEO of KF3 BioDiesel Production and is the inventor of the Bee Hive BioDiesel Production System. Raymond holds a B.S. in Biology, an A.S. in Computer Science and Networking Technology, and numerous technical certifications in multiple fields. For twenty years Raymond has worked as a contract Subject Matter Expert, using his problem solving skills to manage real world challenges. Raymond has worked in the fields of technical diving and marine salvage, military special operations air support, emergency medicine, computer networking support, and as an instructor in scuba diving, gravity sports, and martial arts. Since January of 2004, Raymond has focused exclusively on the challenges surrounding the responsible, sustainable production of biodiesel from waste vegetable oil.
Chief Financial Officer: Kevin Pankhurst, A.S., Computer Science and Networking Support
Kevin brings 10 years of experience managing budgets and project execution for the City of San Mateos' Information Services Department. Holding an A.S. in Computer Science and Networking Technology, Kevin went directly to work for San Mateo and has been responsible for ensuring that the Cities network infrastructure has kept up with the current state of technology in a fiscally responsible manner. Kevin has been directly responsible for designing, budgeting, and deploying the Cities personnel laptops, the SAN (Storage Area Network), and is currently in charge of the Cities Video Teleconferencing infrastucture. As a seed capital provider to KF3, Kevin brings a personal interest to utilizing his budget and project planning skills to ensuring that KF3 continues to move forward in a fiscally responsible and productive manner.
Marketing Director: Peter Brumis, International MBA
Peter is the cofounder and VP of business development of Ecomentum, a green marketing enterprise (www.ecomentum.com). Holding an International MBA from Monterey Institute of International Studies (Fisher Business School, Spanish), Peter was instrumental in engineering a successful exit in 2007 for NuEdison, a Silicon Valley solar manufacturer. Peter now brings his green marketing experience to KF3, as we grow from local to global.
Franchise and Legal Counsel: Patrick Reilly, B.S. Soc, B.S.E.E., J.D.
Patrick has joined with KF3 in order to bring his sales and IP protection knowledge to bear on a green, socially responsible start-up venture. With fifteen years experience in high tech sales, Patrick was responsible for the sale, management and deployment of multi-million dollar systems testing equipment. Retiring from technology sales, Patrick became a Patent Attorney and founded the IP Society (www.IPSociety.net), a public service group dedicated to enriching the public discourse about intellectual property rights . After helping KF3 to initiate IP protection of its' proprietary processes and equipment, Patrick is now directly involved in helping to take the KF3 methodology to the global market. For fun, Patrick acts Trustee/Director/Advisor of: UCSC Entrepreneurial Seminar, Shakespeare Santa Cruz, Marina Technology Cluster, and ACLU Santa Cruz.
Marina Technology Cluster
The Marina Technology Cluster (www.MTC.org) provides KF3 with a variety of business backplane services. The MTC provides business planning and organization counselling, accounting services, and access to a variety of important networking environments. The MTC plays an essential role in transforming the KF3 enterprise from a innovative start-up to an established industry leader.
