KF3 BioDiesel Production Advisory Council
The KF3 Advisory Council is composed of individuals and groups who are not formally part of the KF3 Management Team but who take an interest in, and support, the KF3 endeavor with advice and sage council.
Harold Arsem, Ph.D. Ch.E.
Having successfully traveled the path from start-up to exit, Dr. Arsem coaches the KF3 team in what to expect and how to react to the challenges involved in turning a good idea into a profitable business. During the 1980s, he created, operated, and successfully exited from Eden Research Laboratory, Inc. Eden Labs was a Engineering and Design firm specializing in food and pharmaceutical processes, with an emphasis on the development of specialty nutritional products.
Dr. Arsem began with innovative design concepts, established patent positions, created a management team that drove the Eden Labs organization, profitably licensed the resulting technologies, and exited the company. He is now involved in developing high power energy sources, which is described at www.process-energetics.com .
Barich Business Services
Susan and Alan Barich, the founders of Barich Business Services (www.barichbiz.com), began working with KF3 through the Marina Technology Incubator. Seeing the potential of the KF3 System, the Barich team has been personally coaching KF3 in presentation and business planning strategies.

A premier Santa Cruz auto shop, Water Star Motors specializes in Mercedes and has won numerous awards for green business practices and quality of service. The owners of Water Star Motors (www.waterstarmotors.com) , Henry and Lisa Carter, have supported KF3 since our start-up phase. Expert diesel mechanics, the Carters keep a close eye on our fuel quality and its effect on diesel engines. Water Star was one of the first posessors of a KF3 Fueling Cell. The Carters use KF3s fuel in their personal vehicles and recommend it to their automotive clientele. We at KF3 could not ask for a better endorsement than that!
Charles Hefferlin
Charles began his association with KF3 as a seed capital provider, then bought a rare and valuable late model Mercedes E300 TurboDiesel so that he could utilize the KF3 fuel. Charles subsequently took posession of a KF3 Fueling Cell and is now training to become the holder of the first franchise license so that he can produce his own fuel. Charles provides continuous feedback on his experience as a consumer of KF3 fuel and end user of our equipment and training systems.
